Early in the spring of 2007,Project Band was formed on the sacred grounds of Sapporo Club Music Session, also known as "Atmosphere"among it's patrons (Located@MORROW ZONE) Composed of people who usually play individually and mainly in Sapporo, each of these members also has great individualty and talent toting it along with them to the group. The sound of CORE SHANTI reigns from strong improvisation-------- and like opening the doors of perception ,deserves to be named as the exact sound of Mandala , the array of Gods and Goddesses depicted in Buddhist art, and the name of Mandala in this case is "COSMIC SPIRITUAL JAZZ". This large scale Organic Live Band carries with it the sounds of the new generations and the essence of past. Although it's only been less than one year since the formation of CORE SHANTI, the buzz has been evident at the countless live shows played at openair music festivals,clubs and raves. Their original sound has been admired and revered from djays to dance and music freaks alike. This fusionistic sound will be released in a special mini album due to launch in the spring of 2008, from the newly luanched "NAADA RECORDS"
